AMW Reports: Don't Retouch Me, Instablur Me!

If you live in  Metro Manila, you probably shared my sentiments on how crazy it was last week!  I am not wasting the space here to complain about power shortage because I'm glad our family is safe and sound!  And thankfully Baby AMW has been such a wonderful baby we survived 4 days blackout with a small USB fan!   

I'm glad I need to be at SM Mall of Asia last Saturday for a makeup workshop or else, I will be cancelling out on the event from The Body Shop!  I wasn't feeling well that day due to stress and no sleep but God is good, He made sure to find ways to tell me He loves me and He's always looking after me, how?

By telling me I am still beautiful no matter how puffy my eyes look via The Body Shop "Say Yes to Natural Beauty" #noretouchtbsph campaign.

 Let's rewind to the star of that day!  The Instablur Make-Up Primer!  The "primer world" has been hush hush for months and I'm excited something new is here!  What do we expect from the TBS Instablur?

Before I proceed, I got distracted by their food set up!  Who can say no to J.Co Donuts and Bizu Macaroons?  

Back to the event!  We were each given the chance to try TBS Makeup products with a simple makeover!  We were all tasked to remove all our makeup and try the Instablur Primer!

Since I have dry skin, the skin care line that was used on me was their Vitamin E line!

Because this is a "Natural Beauty" campaign, the makeup artist opted for a very simple makeup look that will enhance my natural beauty (kung meron! :P)

After my quick makeover (which I love!)  we were all seated and welcomed by The Body Shop team!  A quick makeup demo was done in store showcasing The Body Shop InstaBlur.  We were each given a tip on "how to blur"!  The Instablur can be used alone as it helps smooth out imperfections for a mattified no make-up look!  I actually saw in person how the skin looks fresh and even IMMEDIATELY after application of Instablur Primer.

Aside from the "blurring" action, TBS Instablur can also help create long-lasting makeup.

And the fun continued when we were each given simple tips on how to Perfect a "selfie".

• Rock that Angle - shooting from the high angle down is the classic flattering selfie pose.
• Light It Up - play with it!  Use back lightsor natural window light to create warmer selfie.
• Be your Selfie - Let your individuality shine!  Don't hide freckles or your unique features like moles!
