My lawyer told my checks cashed today. My details
EB2 -> PD Sept 2003
I140-> Applied to NSC-> Approved by TSC->March 2007
I485->Applied to NSC -> Delived to NSC on 26th June-> checks cashed on Aug 9th by TSC
TSC is moving like a snail. Last week we saw just couple of cases getting receipt or checks chased for Jun 26 or less and even this week TSC has not moved a day.
Is there anyone who got their checks cashed for the TSC case submitted to NSC on June 27th onwards?

Everybody has been waiting for his/her green card and congratulations to all those who has got their GC. On the other hand it is really unfair and to some extent unethical on the part of USICS not follow a fair system.
There are several people in 2004, 2005 who have been paitently waiting for their turn only to see that people behind them getting approved.
You are talking about 2004, 05. What about 2001, 2002 and 2003? There are so many people with 2002 priority dates still waiting just like me. Mine is 02/2002

That is correct. It does vary from lender to lender. I got 100% from my lender. 1st loan 80% 2nd 20%.

I was able to get approved for 100% financing for an investment property (which is even harder to get financing for). I decided not to buy it later though.

They want their mexican maid or indian computer programmer doing things for them but the moment they realize that these foreigners might get citizenship and be equal to them, they dont like that.... (and so do you)....So there you go....No wonder they pick up phone and dial....In any case, what better can they do?
We cannot reject numbersusa and other organizartion's ideas. As our people are suffering in retrogession some of their people and their families are impacted because of job loss in past. So we cannot tell that they do not have crediblity. They have some valid points also though some of them are absurd. But we need to understand them and try to elimimate their fears also.

I do not think IV is standing alone on this issue. I think that IV is making alliances based on our membership size, funding and reach capabilities. Many times when such alliances may be formed, the other side may not want to be identified in the media. This is particularly true in the current political climate where each side is out to villify the other. I believe that as individuals we should keep creating more awareness among fellow retrogression sufferers and GC applicants alike. I find it amazing that there are so many applicants out there who have not heard about IV. I keep meeting people who suffer from so many retrogression issues and then again they are doing nothing to fight it.

....My permanent employment is in Massachusetts...so from what I read ( from I-140 si I-485 instructions) my permanent employment which is Massachusetts...does not correspond to the Nebraska Service Center...it corresponds to the Texas Service Center. My Employer's Inhouse Attorney ( one of big 4 ) says technically EB dependents ( all 1,2,3) must be classified under FAMILY quota. USCIS mis classifies them under EMPLOYMENT quota.
Is he technically correct ?
Since, Most of dependents will not be affected when they are classified under Family quota (as they have AP and EAD).
Can IV possibly consider for push for reclassification of Dependents under Family Quota ? This will reduce backlog.
Please don't take it out of context, I am not trying to hurt any EB dependents, I too have a spouse working part time using beneficiary EAD. This is more of an open question.
Will you join our hands in recapture ? Will you considering contributing to IV. I will be happy if you can activlly participate in our effort.
This guy is here to divide us on one more point. People who has filled AOS VS Poeple who didnot.
People whose spouses have EAD and AP will go for it while people whose spouses doesnot have EAD AP will oppose it . This is very well game played by Anti. Be aware..

I have mailed my I-485/EAD/I-131 on July 26th and same were received at NSC on July 27th. I did get the receipt numbers for all the same yesterday. The receipt date is Aug 27th, 2007. I did have an TSC I140.
