Hi readers. Sorry for the late updates. Last few weeks were pretty fabulous for me as I was pretty busy with events, party and movie screenings. *yay*
Anyway, during that period I also attended my first skincare product launch as a blogger. First of all, I would like to thank The Butterfly Project for giving me such an awesome opportunity to attend this launch with the rest of the beauty bloggers. =)
Personally I seldom blog about beauty products or skincare launching event because I think that I am not qualified to be a beauty blogger. But The Butterfly Project gave me a chance to attend and blog about this wonderful event. This is a once-a-lifetime opportunity for myself. I am really honored.
What's more that I was given chances to meet veteran beauty bloggers and celebrities and exchanged opinions about the products that we were briefed about during the event. This official launch of Esse organic skincare was held at The Sompoton Spa, Hotel Istana and was attended by numbers of local celebrities and models such as Mr Alan Yun, Mr Isaac Ong and etc.
Hand spa treatment for the bloggers and media. *thumbs up*
The scrub which was applied on both of my hands. The skin was super smooth after the treatment. =)
Refreshments were provided that night and the cup cakes which were specially designed for the launch were too lovely to be eaten. *wide grin* Met a few new blogger friends and one happened to be my junior's ex-classmate back in secondary school. What a small small world! *hee*

Gift box which consists of blueberry cheese tarts, hotdog and etc. *yum yum*
My new friend, Miss Jennie.
Emcee of the day briefly introduced the Esse products.
Miss Megan Tan, the director of The Sompoton Spa was giving her short speech.
Miss Jamie and Miss Edith are the directors of Zecca Limited explained the Esse products.
Esse is an organic skincare range focused on delivering results. Esse is accredited by Beauty Without Cruelty and do not test our products on animals and will not source ingredients from suppliers who do. Esse is endorsed by the Vegan Society which means that no animal products are used in the range.
The founder of Esse, Trevor Steyn obtained a master degree of Chemistry at University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in 1997. It was here that his mentor, Professor Siegfried Drewes, inspired a passion for the chemistry of Africa's plants. After discovering the potential of African plants, he then formulated and founded Esse.
Esse is based in Africa and has been formulated using Africa’s incredible plant diversity. The most potent African plants are sustainably harvested from the wild by local communities. The plants aren’t bred for cultivation. They are the pure, unpolluted species collected from their natural habitat by people who understand that the wild essence of Africa cannot be tamed.
Aeons of incredibly harsh conditions have ensured that only the hardiest plants survive under the African sun. The protective compounds that allow these plants to flourish have been concentrated to offer protection from the pollutants and free radicals that accelerate the ageing process. Esse uses Baobab, Marula and Kalahari Melon, along with many other African extracts to soothe and protect skin. These extracts are combined with cutting edge ingredients like Oleuropein and low molecular mass Hyaluronic Acid to reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.

A photo taken with Miss Edith and Miss Jamie. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and products with us. =)
Door gift was given for the media and bloggers which consists of travel size of Esse products from Cocoa Exfoliator, Gel Cleanser, Cream Cleanser and Cream Mask. Thank you!
Cocoa exfoliator is suitable for all skin types and the smell just like cocoa powder. As for the gel cleanser, it is a foaming, tingling wash that deep cleanses without drying our skin. Next is the cream cleanser which can be used to remove dirt and make-up effectively by binding with oil-based impurities allowing them to be rinsed away. Last but not least which is the cream mask which is used to nourish the most dehydrated skins and it is suitable for mature skin types. You can check them out at all the outlets of The Sompoton Spa in Malaysia.
P/s: Thank you The Butterfly Project and The Sompoton Spa for the wonderful experience with Esse.
lotsa love,
