Have some spare cash to spoil mum this Christmas? Then these presents should be your cup of chai-tea. Here's a few handpicked lush beauty buys that I have tried, tested, loved and would happily gift.
Dermalogica ‘Favourites’ Kit £30 - Dermalogica has become a 'pick me up' brand for my skin since a few years now, especially when travelling or going through really bad skin phases. It’s like that book or a song you always go back to when feeling low. Tried and tested, rich in ingredients and spot on for exhausted/rebellious skin. This limited edition set has four all-time Dermalogica favourites in one box; daily microfoliant, multi-active toner, skin hydrating masque and multivitamin power firm. Priced at £30, its pretty good value for money for a Demalogica fan or someone who likes pampering their skin. Dermalogica's gift range is available online at John Lewis, Selfridges and Look Fantastic.
Botanicals Hands & Feet gift set £35.95 – Botanicals has released some adorable gift sets for those who prefer to stay au naturale. My pick is this precious Hands & Feet gift set which packs in some deliciously scented treats; anti-ageing hand serum bursting with essential oils, hand lotion blended with aloevera and lemongrass, foot softening balm with natural anti-bacterial properties and my personal favourite therapeutic foot soak, aah bliss! The foot soak includes Himalayan rock crystals and dead sea salt, along with lots of essential oils so you'll always have your at-home spa at rescue. And the minty/tea tree smell is powerful enough to help cure those sniffles. I find myself bolting at every chance to chuck tea spoons of this minty foot soak in a hot water bucket and dunk my feet in after a never ending day. Perfect pressie for the workoholics amongst us.
Rahua Finishing (Hair) Treatment £38 – This is pure TLC for hair in a jar. Ingredient rich, weightless and silicone free after shampoo treatment, to protect tresses from the harsh effects of styling tools. This product is the answer to all to those heat tools overload. It’s packed with lush ingredients like rahua-ungurahua, palo santo, quinoa (don’t worry, its gluten free), green tea leaf, raspberry and many more. The palo santo aka ‘holy wood’ smell lingers slightly in the locks after use, but is super mild and does not interfere with your usual fragrance. The rahua oil molecules rebuild damaged hair while omega-9 acid helps strengthen hair follicles to keep strands firmly rooted, preventing breakage. If you know a hair geek like myself who is constantly finding new ways to nourish hair, this is a great luxurious buy.

It cannot get more festive. This 2100W DIVA hair dryer has 4 heat and 2 speed settings, and comes with 2 nozzles, cylindrical hair brush and hair clips for the perfect at-home Cindy Crawford blow out. To complete the party look, you can choose from 2 full sized China Glaze nail paints; Ruby Pumps (glittery red with a red jelly base) and High Maintenance (a very deep glossy red). Both the shades are popular party numbers, making the gift set an easy contender for last minute shopping. I am currently sporting Ruby Pumps to kick off the start of December.
